My next player character is going to wear a scarf.

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

WW1 fighter pilots wore them to prevent chafing their necks as they constanty scaned the skies for enemy planes.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

i would add to this list that it can be used to secure the steering yoke of a vehicle to ensure it travels in a straight line after the occupants debark and place a heavy wt. on the accelerator/throttle mechanism.

@Shadow: it was also used or something similar was used through the millenia by soldiers to prevent chafing by armor around the neck.

Like the towel, the scarf can be wrapped around your head to avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal, which is such a mind-bogglinglyl stupid animal it assumes that if you can't see it, it can't see you.

Just trying to picture a Dralasite so caught up with the idea of a scarf that it/he/she shapes itself to wear one.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?

It would have tobe a webbed scarf so he/she/it could breath.

If we were talking about anything besides dralasites that would be construed as perverse.
