I was looking at the Star Frontiers entry on the tvtopes.org and came across information that said Star Frontiers races appeared in Spelljammer. Since I never played Spelljammer, I did not know this.

So check out the many images available for those races:

Dralasite: Plasmoids (Just the two images available and appear to be given a more liquid-like appareance.)
Vrusk: Rastipedes (More thorny.)
Yazirian: Hadozee (Exactly the same.)

The Sathar were reimagined as the groan-inducing lizard-worm Syllix.

I just stumbled across this too looking for more info on the Vrusk. I never played SJ either, sounds like it was a hoot though.

Syllix: I like the blind white sathar being being used to power/move/navigate the ship idea... grant you SJ is different in 1000's of way, but the idea that a certain number of Satharoid young are born this way and they have some mind power that is inhanced and used by the species works great for SF in general.

The Eruption is interesting concept too.

There is a Dralasite like race too in an early Dragon, I will eventually write it up for fun as it is a bit different than normal Dralasites. Has only one eye for starters.

Here's an interesting idea from Pathfinder... (in poking around there seems to be a recurring theme of crashed space ships in Fantasy Settings.) I like the fleet/train of ships presented, each with different jobs it seems.

The Divinity was a massive spaceship from the planet Androffa, charged with spreading technology and advanced civilization. The Divinity and the train of ships it supported crashed on Golarion under undetermined circumstances in -4363 AR, an event known to Golarians as the Rain of Stars.[1]

The Divinity spearheaded a caravan of several other ships.[2] As it crashed, these other ships separated with some attempting to land intact, resulting in the wide spread of wreckage across Numeria. These ships included:

  • The Divinity itself, a massive ship with four habitat modules, at least 14 habitat domes, and the wormhole-generating Divinity Drive[3]
  • A detached habitat dome designed to carry specimens of other species[4]
  • The Aurora, an android foundry and genetics laboratory module[5]
  • The Chrysalis, a recycling module and cargo bay[6]
  • The Destiny, a habitat ship that contained Kasathan fauna[7] which crashed in the site of what is now the town of Iadenveigh[8]
  • The Dusklight, an older derelict spaceship of unknown origin being transported by the Divinity; pieces of this ship are also scattered across Numeria[9]
  • An intact shuttle craft inside a sinkhole in the Sellen Hills[10]
