 November 18, 2013 - 5:59am | I was working on the athor militia in the yazirian civil war project. http://www.starfrontiers.us/node/6023 I think the system ship versions of the sloop would be ideal for their militia- non void capable which respects the cannon material which lists no militia for this system. In fact i would like to redesignate the yaka bear as native to the primary planet in this system. Since Athor is the gateway to yazirian space (astrographically speaking) the yakka sloop was their answer to pirate supressing and commerce inspection. Since it was slow footed ships with the hentz flag occassionaly challenged their authority to board and inspect. (Fo1 can be such dicks about their place in the universe). This lead to some shooting incidents and the 30 cycles war or my "Yazirian Civil War" where Hentz pushed the issue of their supposed hegemony over all yazirian colonies. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
November 18, 2013 - 6:10am | The beauty of the Yakka class sloop is that Yast is not listed as having a starship construction center and we can easily hand wave that as the ship is built on the ground and launched into space. Also, Laaka Station may have a limited capacity to build or maybe there was a rebel SCC in one of the two asteroid belts. |
