 August 16, 2011 - 10:10pm | It's likely that any of the rides and/or attractions that we are used to here & now on Earth would be amazingly bizarre to Yazirians, Dralasites and Vrusk. One thought comes to mind however; how would a Dralasite react to a funhouse mirror? Wouldn't it only reflect various shapes that any Dralasite would find to be completely normal? Vrusk amusements would likely be more intellectually challenging puzzles rather than the physical "weeeeee" rush type of rides. Gawd only knows what Yazirians would find "amusing", but I'm sure the other races would describe even the most mellow of their rides as terrifying. My SF website izz: http://ragnarr.webs.com |

August 17, 2011 - 5:14am | Ok here we go: Star Safari Space Savanna- hunting theme park, separated "ecosystem" that allow you to hunt your favorite large game or dangerous predator, kriks from Hum, dinosaurs from New Pale, etc No one admits to doing it themselves but everyone knows someone who did: Xanadu LLC (a Star Play subsidie) presents the Pleasure Dome. Where all your wildest secual fantasies can be indulged in. All of the Pleasure Domes cater to very kinky sexual appetites but the one of Ankor, Zebulon falls into some very murky legal waters due to the murky legal status of the system which allows that Pleasure Dome to offer some very very questionable services that are illegal in the rest of the UPF. Zanadu LLC did open a Pleasure Dome on the RRS staion over Stenmar, Kazak in the Rim but it seems that the humma dont have sex for pleasure, the osakar dont have sex at all, and the ifshnit were disinclined to use the attraction. This one was closed in just two months due to huge losses of revenue. The Space Aquarium Hotel and Resort- these are usually small. they offer a relaxing environment where all the walls are crystal-plast and the entire hotel is inside a huge aquarium. where ever you are in the hotel you have the illusion of being under water. the hotel has lounges, spas, meditation chambers etc and caters to the relaxation needs of all the major species of the Frontier and Rim. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
August 17, 2011 - 5:33am | Other attractions: The Colony Ship museum: docked at RSS over Circe, Solar Minor, a replicat colony ship and museum to the Age of Colonization. Come aboard and see the cryo sleep tanks. the hydroponics section, see a model of the antiquated fission reactor, learn about radiation hazards and the dangers experience by the first colonizers. Gravity Go amusements- series of rides and coasters using gravity for the amusement of the young or the young at heart. Walley Burgers- Best in Yazirian Barbeque and Human grill foods, check out our Credit Menu. The Hive Cafe- catering to vrusk business being that just cant relax while on vacation. The Hive Cafe is an artsy environment that recreates the hive as it should have been or as it would have been in romantic imagination. The cafe has wireless Galactic Net interfacing and a business center for patron's use. It also offers high quality but over price vrusk refreshements. Galactic Galleries, art galleries catering to the love of art and beauty in several of the space faring races, principly vrusk, eorna but also popular with humans, ifshnits, osakar and dralasites and to a lesser extent yazirians. Sonics, a Spa and sonic art gallery, odd attraction invented by dralasites, its a maze of experience that dralasites claim the only way to experience is totally naked. As you wander through it you experience all sorts of sensations caused by sonic sculptures and fields designed to stimulate your senses and invigorate you. I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers! |
