Like the US Coast Guard

but for Clarion

Starting with the known fact that Clarion was a water logged world we can presume some large bodies of water? and active weather paterns? and that would mean a need for a service like the Coast Guard. For the most part they have cutters that perform standard search and rescue operation but they can be called upon to perform enforcement- limited small arms for the crew and one heavy weapon that would be mounted on a pintol mount along the rail or a pedistal in the bow intended to give the weapon a 260 degree arc of fire.

Similar rank structure to the Royal Marines. Dozens Royal Sea Guard Stations covering major population centers on the coasts and major fisheries.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Emblem is a lion headed sea horse. with Royal Sea Guard and a motto written around the outside edge.

adventure angles- adventure requires a sub- so submersible and sub driver borrowed from the RSG.

Air cars and jetcopters would also feature. Flitboards, floater discs and air transports too.

Isn't Clarion more of a muddy bog/swamp than water? If so hovercraft would be the norm.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out
