Background

Ernest Rook developed a nack for tinkering at a very young age, having constructed his first robot (a service model) at the age of 7. His computer and technical savvy followed shortly afterwards, as he developed those fields throughout his teen years at Pale's vocational school system. He enlisted into the Truane's Star military as a young adult, and learned a few weapons trades along with enhancing his technical background even further. He strives to eventually attend Gollwin in order to learn starship piloting or engineering, most likely the latter.

"BERT" is Ernest's latest robot, a compact design that moves just as well across smooth surfaces (120m/turn) or can lock its solid rubber wheels to spider-walk across rougher terrain (30m/turn). It is well armed and linked to Ernest's portable computer. The 'bot also sports a small trunk, in order to stow some of Ernest's heavier gear. The robot masses a mere 60kg less armament and battery.
