Known Rank & File of SDA

Yan-Soon Shea-Dow (mY)

Leader, received formal military training in Truane's Star, specializing in military tactics. Self-appointed title of Magnate General is not recognized by Truane's Star or the UPF.

Q'ortir-Mein (mV)

Yan-Soon's right hand man is the cyberneticaly enhanced vruskan Lord Q'ortir-Mein. Formerly known as Lieutenant Colonel Q'ortarmas, he was involved in a star fighter crash and was seriously (not to mention permanently) injured during the SDA's operations at Histran. He was later revived with bionics and cybernetic implants, replacing extensively damaged and destroyed tissues and organs. Despite losing half of his abdomen and four legs as well, his skeleton was surgically laced with a federanium alloy. Mechanical lungs and an electronic respirator assist his organic heart, digestive tract (which can only tolerate liquid food), and brain; the latter of which was enhanced with a micro-computer. Other useful items include passive IR/UV receptors, a radiophone, toxy/rad guage connected to gas filters in his helmet, an infrared jammer, built in compass, electromagnetic boots for zero-grav maneuvers, and cyber-linked shoulder mounts for heavy weapons. His revived self was reborn under the guise of Lord Q'ortir-Mein and he has served as Yan-Soon's primary leading agent ever since.

Colonel Destra (fH)
Vivian Destra was recruited directly from under Yan-Soon's former command with Truane's Star. She is the top ranking officer, second only to Lord Q'ortir-Mein. She is as cunning and dangerous as she is demure and attractive...her primary service is the coordination of ground troops. Her thirst for bloodletting is unparalleled, and she has been known to abandon her post more than once to join her troops for little more than the sheer joy of the slaughter.

Lt. Col. Victor Menaas (mH)

Another loyal casualty of war, Victor's injuries were nothing compared to Q'ortarmas' sufferings. Victor suffered from an artillery explosion that burned half of his body. His armor constantly feeds a soothing liquid medication gel onto his burns to ease the infectious wounds, although he feels nothing thanks to seared nerve endings from the blast. A cunning and ruthless warrior, he reports to Destra and is usually found relaying her orders on the ground.

Major Quell-Sum (fY)

A higher ranking female Yazirian hailing from the Vilia clan, one of Yan-Soon's two clan heritages. She has risen through the ranks with a vast knowledge of firearms. Her specialty is vehicle combat and artillery, but she prefers going hand to hand with a foe.

Lt. Dah-Lina (fI)

This half-liter Ifshnit transplant from the Rim joined SDA with the promise of military command. As a Lietenant she recieved that command aboard one of the Soon Uprising dreadnaught class vessels as a Battery Commander, coordinating groups of rocket batteries against the enemies of SDA. She finds this line of work much more exciting than her former merchant life in Capella. In an attempt to blend in with Frontier lifestyles, she regularly shaves her ifshnit bodyhair, something that would be seriously frowned upon back home. But she has no intent of returning, unless General Yan-Soon opts to go after any Rim worlds...

Lieutenant Afismyte (fV)

This female vrusk is the chief medical and environmental officer in the SDA. Her research in the field of bionics and cybernetics led to an exile from Frontier society. Piracy and other criminal organizations were not very apealing, but she liked what SDA had to offer and was a shoe-in. It was by her hand that the rebirth of Lord Q'ortir-Mein was made possible.

Chief Master Sergeant Mosilaj (mD)

The highest ranking of the enlisted troops is the Dralasite Mosilaj, whose vast knowledge in the fields of weapons, maneuvers, and computers makes him a valued member among all officers. He often leads troops under the command of Menaas, both on the ground and in spaceships. Unlike most dralasites, he has no sense of humor whatsoever. As such, when he isn't serving in times of warfare he works as a drill instructor with new recruits.

"Punisher Squadron"

The Escort Carrier SDAS Punisher carries one of the Soon Uprising's most potent weapons: the dreaded 31st Tactical Fighter Wing which includes the highly efficient "Punisher Squadron". Lord Q'ortir-Mein once lead this fine fighting unit before his ill-fated transformation, after which handing it down to his second in command who has continued the fine service record that the 31st has enjoyed for many years.
The driving force of the 31st is the Punisher Squadron, a group of six S-3 Barracuda tactical fighters expertly flown by a top notch fighting unit. A pair of S-2 Manta heavy assault fighters and a squadron of six S-1 Pirhannas flies as support to the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing.

Lt. Col. Fel-onia Shar (fY)
Former second-in-command and current Squadron Leader Baroness Fel-onia Shar runs a tight unit. No stranger to leadership, she was the former spouse of Baron Fel-tor Shar of the fierce barbaric Zigara clan in Yast. Many a UPF or Milita fighter has fallen to her trigger finger. Her signature canis teeth and nails have been plated with Federanium, an offshoot of her clan's custom which involves dipping them in iron.

Major Derrick Malis (mH)
Flight Leader #2 /second in command Major Malis leads the second flight of Punisher Squadron. He is a distant cousin to LtCol Victor Menaas but recieved his position on merit alone, he is malicious behind the stick and the sound of his name over the 'com brings certain doom, "Major Malice coming through". Malis enjoys participating in his wingman's tradition of downing a bottle of ale for every enemy craft shot down.

Captain Pon-Tik (mV)
The vruskan pilot and leader of Flight #3 is another force to be reckoned with, Pon-Tik is the protoge of his former squadron leader Q'ortarmas. He can often be found stealthfully sneaking up on the tail of his prey, creeping up on them like the bug that he is. True to his vruskan nature, he takes his business very seriously and his business is dispensing carnage among enemy craft.

Lieutenant Felicia Hart (fH)
Felicia Hart is Fel-onia's winglady, taking the helm of Alpha P-4. She has racked up quite a few chalk marks on her hull as a result, taking down enemies of the SDA under the command of her squad leader. Felicia has a deep hatred toward the UPF fighter squadrons who once refused to take her in as a pilot. Their loss, and the 31st's gain. Her slogan is often repeated over the space-waves during combat when she or her leader scores a kill: "Bitches rule!"

Lieutenant Grunjar Tor (mY)
The Yazirian Grunjar Tor flies as wingman to Derrick Malis in Alpha P-5. He has a tradition of ordering a bottle of Yazirian Ale for every target he and Malis shoot down. Off duty he likes to carouse and has no qualms about picking a fight with other SDA members that disagree with him, even if they outrank him...

Lieutenant Xobaltik (mD)
The Dralasite Xobaltik makes up the final member of Punisher Squadron, piloting Alpha P-6 under the command of flight leader Pon-Tik. His dry sense of humor is often overheard on the comm during maneuvers and when engaging the enemy, which often serves as a distraction to both friend and foe alike.
