Lions and tigers and bears, oh yes.

I think some things with deep Star Frontiers associations should or could be used as the antogonist in the setting.

Zethra- as written they could have an agenda and lets say they do. they have been infiltrating the fledgling galactic society and doing stuff. They are like puppet masters not hard charging Klingons. and their electric zap ability is a nice special attack/defense for them

Saurians- refugees invading known space- four different genetic expressions of the one race. potentially more aggressive than the zethra.

mechanons- the Cylons of Star Frontiers but never fully Cylon-ized. Mech races are kind of a standard in sci-fi

The skin jobs of Blade Runner- engineered super soldiers, a staple of sci-fi and bad to the bone because they are stronger and faster than normals

AW/SF version of the Borg, because implacable enemies are handy.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Under potential protagonists is the My-xine or snot snake- I rather like this alien as its pretty alien.

not neccessarily a baddie but more like how the zethra were presented in Dragon as a potential NPC companion seeing as how I jsut nominated the Zethra for evil master mind status.

And why not the vihm from Star Frontiersman fame? as potential antagpnist but not bent on destruction just following their own goals that can collide with those of the PCs.
