Call for Submissions

I've managed to go almost 4 years without having to do this but the time has come.  We need submissions for the Frontier Explorer.  It's time to start working on issue 16 and I have exactly one story and the back cover comic for the issue.  So I need your help.

If you have anything that you have worked on that you would like us to share, could you please consider submitting it to the magazine for publication.  There has been quite a bit of great stuff shared here recently: equipment, vehicles, weapons, star systems, and cadres, that would be wonderful to have in the magazine.  And while I could probably cull the material, it would be helpful if the authors could do that and submit it themselves.  That way I know exactly how they want to be credited and they can add any corrections and acknowedgements that they feel are appropriate.

If you want to submit, simply put the material into a text document and submit it at http://frontierexplorer.org/Submissions.  At that point it will get into the editing queue and the editors will start working on it and contact you if they have any questions.  If you don't have an account on the Frontier Explorer site and would like one, let me know and I'll create it (I've disabled account creation due to problems with spammers).  You don't need an account to submit articles but if you do have one, it let's you track your articles through the editing queue.

If you can help out by submitting, I'd greatly appreciate it.  I have a couple of articles I know are coming but not nearly enough for a complete issue.  I need any submissions by the end of the March at the latest but earlier is always better.  Thanks for your great work.

I'm glad it was of use! Yeah, I just don't have time to get the article ready at the moment, as I'm moving house and that's taking far too long.

I know that moving is no treat. Would it help if I sent you a couple word documents? As I mentioned, I took what you wrote to include in my own campaign as a players' briefing. Though since I have it set before the Second Sathar War, I do not have the later information.

I don't envy anyone who is moving, it's an endless chore that you enslave yourself into. The more you move, the more you realize that you're a long ways off from being done.

It's one reason I never advertise that I own a pick-up truck --- you instantly become every Tom, Dick, & Harry's best friend when it's time for them to move down the street --- and instead ride my motorcycle to work. Wink
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

Yeah, send me a message and maybe we can write something up, or potentially have a twofer set of articles.

OK. But don't expect too much from my iteration. Please send me an email at JandM747@outlook.com. That is a secondary email address.

Welcome back.  I suspected that's what you were off doing and almost sent you an e-mail to see how things were going. Good to hear that you're hanging in there.  Hopefully your husband is doing better as well.  I think you'll like the next issue of the Frontier Explorer coming out later this week.  JCab747 took some of your ideas and ran with them.  It turned out great.

Hi. I wondered if you had gotten my submission. Although I am a writer, I am used to my editors asking clarification questions because, unfortunately, I cannot promise typo free copy. Best regards.

P.S. I also hope I provided proper attribution to  Tchklinxa and others on the forums.

Yes, I got it.  The only real comment is that when you make a submission, put the title of the article in the title field of the submission form.  Your submissions were fine, I didn't have any real questions and took care of the few types and such.  I would have definitely contacted you if there had been problems.

Exicted can't wait to see JCab747 & TerlObar

:)

I will put something together critterwise for which ever magazine needs submissions next I have. Need to get back cracken on my projects.

Hubby is on his 3rd round of chemo with new poisons added to the mix, so some days hit him hard, but he is chugging along. Only a less then 1% of chance of getting the type of cancer he has an adult as it occurs on the growth plates, so if you are going to get this cancer you are usually a child not an adult in your 40s. So I think the doctors are guessing on treatment a bit as no one his age is suppose to have and they seem to think something has happened genetically to cause this, ie genes turned on becuase of genetic damage by unknown outside source? All odd as to my knoweldge I am the only one who has been in areas where nukes have been deployed. I am thinking the genetic switch that has been turned on maybe triggered by something else.

Got to get to work. :) Missed you all. :)
