Tech works on condensation and temperature differences between night and day. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/innovation/this-tower-pulls-drinking-water-out-of-thin-air-180950399/
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Tattooine moisture vaporators are here!

I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

Very cool.  And it is low-tech.  It would be interesting to see if they catch on...

Should perhaps detail both the low tech real world and a Vaporation tower based on the Star Wars one for the zine-

In a Volturnus style adventure one of the challenges for the tech PC could be to get the malfunctioning vapor tower working so the party doesn't die of thirst.

Interesting but Bermuda an island nation with NO fresh water has been using condensation tech to supplement water supply for decades. When I visited there in the 70s and asked why all the big buildings were painted pink was told that that was the best color to collect morning dew with.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?
