I'm curious what the reasons for a game to stagnate and fall apart and what can be done to solve the problem?
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

The biggest detriment, to me, about PBEM/P is the lack of interactivity. The best part about getting together IRL for a game was the laughter and camarederie of the game itself.  PBEM was a snoozer. I always forgot aspects of what I was going to do.  These games become more of a multi-author story than a game.

The next best thing to an IRL game is Roll20. I joined a game, thinking it was going to be similar to PBEM. Boy, was I wrong.  I get to listen and laugh with a great bunch of guys.  Granted, this is from a guy who played for many years on an all text fantasy MUD.

You'll never beat the gaggle of guys with dice bags, pizza and pop getting together for a fun night of play, IMO.
