Merry Christmas all, its Saturday and I'm at Disney's Magic Kingdom, the so called happiest place on Earth and there might be some truth to that since I've forgottened how steamed I am with the spouse. I've also recovered some nemories from my parents taking me here 40and years ago. I havent found Captain Nemo's sub so I guess its been replaced with pirates of the Carribbean.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

IIRC Captain Nemo's was replaced with Finding Nemo sometime in the past decade or so. The Nautilus and Pirates rides were both present when I last visited in the mid 90s. I'm curious how Star Tours looks since Walt acquired that property...I'm told the small gift shop that once accompanied it is now a huge boutique.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

I haven't been in 40remission years so a lot has changed and a lot has not. I was planning a post on Star wars when I can get to a computer and down load photos but suffice it to say my enthusiasm had been waning for Star Wars in the past 14 years and today its in need of CPR. There is Mickey's Star Traders for a shop in Future Land.

One of the big differences between Bush Gardens and Disney is Bush Gardens sells beer (albeit Bud, Bud Light and Bud Light Lime - all piss poor excuses for beer and $8.00 a bottle) Disney of course is dry. EDIT: I guess I can stomache BL Lime so its only half of a piss poor excuse of a beer. :(

The computer animated Clone Wars was good (as was the cartoon series that preceded it). The "Rebels" series on Disney XD is awesome, I can't wait for the Season 1 DVD release as I've only seen a couple episodes.

I have high hopes for the Disney Episode 7. If their work with their acquired Marvel line is any indication, Star Wars should be excellent once more. Check out Guardians of the Galaxy if you haven't yet, that's based on Marvel's future-verse super heroes and is probably a good indication how Star Wars will be handled. I daresay, despite not having read the comic series, GotG was even better than the Avengers.

Re: Star Wars, you may want to check out the RPG blog, Kippers and Jam, http://kippersandjam.wordpress.com/2014/10/20/rebels-as-a-d6-star-wars-game/. The author is re-working the "Rebels" episodes as if they were RPG sessions. I can't watch the shows, but it's been interesting reading.
