And though its officially a Horror themed issue, in truth I've thought of this one as a Halloween issue. I've been out of touch for a week with family and health issues so thanks to the other editors for carrying the ball on this one.

Voting is taking off on the greatest SF module, which is good to see.

I spent a lot of time googling greatest modules of all time and you are pretty much only going to find D&D modules done as a list but no Sci fi modules list anywhere. So I hope that by hosting the poll and by pulishing a greatest module list that it helps put the fan magazine on the map when people idly google top Sc fi RPG modules of all time or something similar. If anyone is qualified to decide this for Star Frontiers modules its certainly this community of fans and the extended readership of the fan magazines which may or may not be active on these forums. Any why not I think we have the best game and the best fan zines!

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I missed something in the HAG article: Alpha Dawn skills system HAG membership- demolitions skill for pyrotechnican on a movie set.

in the How Many Starships article the explanation of SSCs type I, II, & III says "hull points" in some places where it should say Hull size, I believe. And yes the following paragraph redefines hull points but the preceeding paragraphs should conform to what's in KHs.

Wow interesting what the sims turned up as to the number of vessels of the Frontier. I would insist on any sizable planet, particularly one noted for industry or resources in it economy to have effective ground based ship yards capable of handling upto HS5

Note KHs also says there are numerous patrol groups not listed in the campaign game so the actual number of Space Fleet hulls should be higher.

I'm going to be going back to the Number of Star Ships article more than once- a lot to think about there, thanks Tom for the valuable service you provided to the community with that article.

Actually, the "hull points" references in the rules section are straight out of KH.  It's inconsistent there.

my bad but it certainly seems that hull size should have been used in certain places.

I agree, which is why I made the comment in the article.  It should have been hull size but they wrote hull points in the rulebook.

Interesting results in the web poll for the top 10 SF modules. Mission to Alcazzar is a surprise to me that it took 1st place but Dramune Run and Eleanor Mores are not so suprising that they would place so high. I had thought that Dramune Run might take 1st place.

Also interesting that Space Odessy got more votes than Face of the Enemy.
