I've always thought that the Firefly ship looks like a chicken - this proves it

The Firefly is anatomically inacurate. Those outboard engine pods could rotate a full 180º, and that wouldn't be possible with those solid scapula bones.

I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why.
