The wife and I watched the movie "Elysium" this week.  Good movie.  A bit on the gory side (too much for my wife), so it's not one I'll be taking the kids to see, but I enjoyed the story and the visuals very much.  In fact, my wife said that if it were not for the gore, she would consider it a Great Movie.

I agree.  It has the feel of greatness.  One of those movies that becomes a classic.

I highly recommend it.

Saw it, loved it. It is a guy movie though. Very few slow part and the parts that are slow are very brief. It has the feel of getting into a car dropping the gear into 4th and flooring the gas pedal and not letting up till the end. I liked the bad guy and I liked meg ryan as a bad guy/ witch with a capitol B.

There are logical problems with the setting in the way that they ended it but the movie is very good.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Yeah, definitely a "guy movie".

I agree about there being a few minor issues - I saw them right away, but didn't care.  I enjoyed it too much.

The station itself was cool, and made me think of Star Frontiers.

Worth mining for ideas in a sand box game. PCs find a system with a have nots on the planet and haves in space habitat. Important resources are available in system and the have are willing to trade them but for this little job they need done....
