Not sure what the deal with this site is but it seems to be a rule conversion of SF and SF setting and has incorporated the Khad'dan into the yazirian material which means the person who did this either was exposed to the Khad'dan about 10 years ago or in the past year at this site. Not sure which but I didn't spot any of the other Yazirian material developed here so.... this could be old.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

MW is an online PbP forum hosting site. Essentiually a GM introduces a game in the open forum to generate interest, and once a few  potential players chime in the actual game forum is enabled in a private format that the GM accepts/declines players/guests.

I'm currently participating (as a player) in a Mentzer BECMI D&D game there, the DM is hosting the B:1-9 In Search of Adventure mega-module with the Mentzer Basic "Castle Mistamere" sample dungeon as a prequel.
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out

BTW I recall seeing that SF654 setting somewhere else on the web. I think it was an older play-by-email site (geocities or some such obscure site).

It seems that's the prefered method of playing Star Frontiers online - play-by-post.

I thought Terl Obar's forums had more then enough functionality for PBP.

They do, but I was referring to our old SF.us live chat/gameroom with the dice roller. We used to have a link to it up top.

Nobody used it (that I'm aware of). The chatroom auto-disables if we don't use it for a period of time and Bill has to keep re-enabling. With browser-based software like Google Plus Hangouts and Roll20.net (plus VTT's like Map Tool and OpenRPG) it's really not needed. Or am I wrong?

We've tried pnp on this site but it tends to frizzell out when ppl get busy, plus we don't have notifications which is really helpful with pnp. StarFrontiers.us 2.0 will have notifications and other cool features. Smile

The dice roller wasn't working, hence the room didn't get used. We were able to log into chat, even log in as character names insteadof our normal forum names...but the dice roller was fudged. Hence it merely became another chat room.
