Sometimes you see a picture and it grabs you and you think, "Wow, that would make a great adventure/setting location!"

Sadly I don't always hold onto those pictures and a couple of months latter I left wonder what tha picture was.

So this is a little thread for Location Inspiration whether in picture form or simply described in words because you've had it in your head for awhile.

I uploaded the following to my photobucket account after finding it on my facebook wall.

Couple of things concerning this 1. it would be invisible from the air much like the city of petra is in Jordan where the city is carved into the sides of a ravine (as seen in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) 2. no landing a jet copter on the top of this spire Yazirians could avoid the trek to the valley floor but anyone else attempting to glide to it with gli-jets show have an ability check with a negative modifier for a safe landing and critical failures plummet to the valley floor. 3. Ancient ruins are always cool so I really like this

the picture of the elephants head rock formation is what is of interest, actually the whole chasm is pretty cool, I visited it several times as a kid. but I got thinking that the elephants head rock formation could be used as a clue in an rpg- "go to the left of the elephant and you will find the dingus"
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

The city of Petra is more well known having appeared in movies and figuring in a Bible prophesy but that Asain temple is mad mad cool with accessibility issues, I love it.
