Triad named and colonized after humans, vrusk, and dralasites met. Destined to become the center and capitol of the Frontier but that was before the yazirians turned up. With the advent of the yazirians a new cultural center for racial exchange and learning was established in Prengular.

Triad has been a major center for exchange, learning and technology development but as remained in the shadow of Gran Quivera though one might make the case for its impact on the Frontier being more significant thant Gran Quivera if not for the Council of Worlds being seated at that planet.

Triad's population is mixed with the majority mix of races being vrusk, dralasites, and humans with yazirians making up only a small percentage. Its a major center for learning with sector reknowned universities.

The mega corps CDC and NET are headquartered here.

Culturally speaking, its capitol's synphony hall is acclaimed to be the largest and most prestigious in the sector.

However Triad is not all idyllic. The vrusk criminal organization, the Zenk, is rumored to be headquartered here. If that is not true then at the very least they are a major influence on Triad.

The working class and debt thralls compose the marginalized and disatisfied masses.

Blood sports abound, with underground arenas (some literally underground). The Planet is ruled by an oligarchy. Based on the structure of Terledrom with elected dralasites, vrusk corporate council, and human oligarchs that see their rule as benevolent it is actually plagued by many levels of corruption.

Unlike other planets with mega corps headquartered on them, Triad's complicated  government scheme and the natural competition between CDC and NET has limited the inroads that these corporations have been able to make into controlling it.

A high population world with a major industrial economy Triad is a major port of call with an armed space station and a docking station.

As per laws enacted by the Council of Worlds Trade stations cannot sell goods manufactured on the planet beneath them thus the trade station of the Cassidine system orbits Rupert's Hole.

The militia in Cassidine is low profile. Two armed space stations and several squadrons of fighters.

CDC has a handful of armed privateers.

ship inspections are carried out by boarding shuttle or at the stations.

Since a google search revealed that the word triad played a part in music I wrote in that Triad's symphany hall was the largest and most prestigious in the Frontier.

Plus the image of the societal elites attending the synphany by air car while the huddled masses entertain themselves with arena and blood sports makes a good contrast.

Triad backgrounds: music student, parents dreamed that you would prove a music prodigy, and you were good, just not good enough to win the right scholarships or connected enough with family and money to remain in college. Character starts with 2 levels of skill on one instrument and that instrument. Arena sport contender: 1 level of martial arts or melee weapon skill and a permanent debilitating injury to one leg: reduce movement by 1/4 and pain modifier applies if physically active for more than four hours straight without a 1/2 hour rest.

Family member in debt background: brother, sister, mother, aunt etc is a debt thrall; you can purchase their freedom for a few thoughsand and you've sworn to do so. Plus 5 stamina from hard work trying to do just that.

Source Data File: "The Zethra" Ed Greenwood Dragon #84 page 76

The Zethra known as Urloth and Verndu resides in the Cassidine system and goes by the name Urloth and Verndu of Cassidine.

Despite the presence of two populated world there is little doubt these two Zethra reside on Triad.
Triad is runner up for Hub of the Frontier sector and the only other mixed species colony after Gran Quivera. Its the location of the mega corp headquarters for NET and all that computer hardware and data storage must be like candy to a child for these two zethra.

Also a common practice by residence of both planets is to claim that they are from Cassidine and not to specify their planet of origin.

Brazil's Hubstar Saloon is locate on one of the inhabited planets of the Cassidine system.

A famous incident occured there when Star Law agents and their security team attempted to question the Zethra Urloth. Urloth knocked the entire team unconscious when it felt threatened as well as causing a major malfunction of the team's robot Tencode.

So where is this Saloon? it could be either world though with Triad having heavy population and Rupert's Hole having light one might expect a saloon to be more likely on Rupert's Hole but it is just a name so the Saloon could be anywhere.

We should also assume that Jancaith is a major city with a level of crime to warrent something like the silver twins- and just for the record I donnot like the silver twin concept, it feels like Knight Rider ported to SF for 11 year olds.

I will have to read the Silver Twin story. I vaguely remember it from years ago, though the name reminds me of the Hanna-Barbara "Super Friends" cartoon with the Wonder Twins.

The Wonder Twins look like Aquaman and Wonder Woman got drunk one night and had a one night stand and out of embarrassment they gave them up for adoption. I mean who wouldn't be embarrassed? Your a superhero and you want to be proud of your son but you get Zan. Batman took in a ward and he grew up to be Night Wing, and if Superman had a kid you just know your going to groan every time he's bragging about how super his kid is. Then there's Zan, really? You're part of the Justice League and your going to be bragging about your boy turning himself into an ice ladder?

Flash is taking ROTFL to new hieghts at that one.
