OK maybe I am the only cheap person on this list but here goes my latest FREE product find.

Drive Thru Games in conjunction with Brave Halfling Publishing is offering X-plorers. This is an old school sci-fi roleplaying game loosely based on Traveller. It is short under 40 pages but has everything needed to play if in short form including an interesting space combat system which forces each crewmember to take part in the fight. The intro says this game should be treated like it is 1974 as it does not take into account any later technology so think Aliens and Star Wars the original (which did not come out til later and is still not one of my favorite movies)

They also offer a FREE scenario separately Cleopatra Station to help you get started.

Now this FREE version does not come with any artwork. If you like it and are not cheap like me you can get the the version with the artwork for only $6.00 American.

Here is the link for the free version   http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=93797
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?

Shame they removed tehartwork, wouldlove tosee what that's like...but free is free.

The freighter deck plans they depict really confuses me. They don't match the exterior views at all.

But I'll be printing it out to digest it and play!
I'm not overly fond of Zeb's Guide...nor do I have any qualms stating why. Tongue out
