What are the flags of the Frontier? Its a human tradition and not at all certain that the other races will have a similar practice. I see yazirians and humma having a similar practice. Dralasites would easily adopt the practice. I think it'd be likely that the strong maritime tradition of the ifshnit would see the evolution of a flag. Strong possibility that both the Rim and the Frontier have flags. So what's the flag of the UPF? The MSO? Planetary governments? And etc.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Given the Osakar habit of imitating human cloths they would probably start using flags too. I think the Dralastites would not use flags in the same way. They strike me as an amphibious bunch. What sort of banner would work both in water and land?

I dont think the dralasite would be too keen about flag waving as the yazarian may get the idea to stretch out the dral and use him for the flag to be waived

It occurred to me that many cultures use the symbolism of tranformation on their flags. For instance the flags of the US and France use the transformative colors common at the time of the rise of republicanism. The transformation from day (white) through sunset (red) to night (dark blue). other cultures do this as well; The germans before WW2 did the same thing but with Black representing night, and the Irish used the colors of the seasons Autumn orange to snow white to spring and summer green.

I figured in my effort to finish my Ishnit rank project I would use this theme and com up with thier symbol.
I will post the result in the Port Loren library in the next few minutes, and post the link here.

A symbol of an important event also makes a good flag. Bermuda has a sinking ship on their flag. It represents the ship that sank and began their country.
Sounds like a great job but where did you say we had to go?
