Over the weekend I was working on the Administrator's guide to Gamma World, and part of that had to do with putting in the technology of the Ancients. Because the Gamma World setting in the URS is connected to the Star Frontier's (URS) campaign setting I had to make the equipment of the ancients reflect that of the Frontier but make it reflect the 1,000+ year difference between the current Frontier equipment and the equipment in that rules set.

Of course because of this it now opens up the possibility of looking through all the cool items that over the years have been created for Gamma World and mining that equipment for the Frontier. Of course I'll have to figure out what equipment is Frontier level and what is ultra-tech but it does open up a whole new world of possibilities and gives me a lot of cool stuff for the Zebs guide to Frontier technology.

I managed to take some time to start setting up the Zebulon's guide to Frontier technology. The book will consist of technology spanning the Fusion age (Pre-Frontier) Gravity age (Frontier age), and Energy age (100+ years in the Frontier's future). There will be sections on equipment, including new weapons and equipment for spacecraft which will allow Administrators to create space craft from the fusion era (Pre-FTL Drives) and the far future.

I'm also including a lot of new weapons and equipment to flesh out those Combat Mechs, and in the Administrator's section will be rules for creating those pesky artifacts that crop up in many old style Science Fiction books of the pulp era.
