(only for use with zebs guide) what is a few mechanon ambassadors were in town, and with the robots going rogue the people start to think that the mechanons might be up to their old tricks (could be true, but I like the idea that they are innocent) can the heroes discover the truth in time or will frontier Mechanon relations get set back because of this incident.
"Hey guys I wonder what this does"-Famous last words
"Hey guys, I think it's friendly." -Famous last words
"You go on ahead, I'll catch up." -Famous last words
"Did you here that?" -Famous last words

Oh... that is awesome.
In the adventure we just write a section for this idea.

Plot Hooks
Two mechanon ambassadors and several from the warrior class are visiting the planet. The are encouraged to check out a new attraction in the northern territory, Cyber Gorge. When the robots start to misbehave it's only natural the mechanon are blamed. Will the party defend them, solve the mystery or something else.

Edit: The real organic bad guys take this opportunity to reprogram the robots and blame the mechanon, covering their illicit behavior.

I was investing a lot of thought into your project and took notes while I was away from the computer.

1. this installation would almost certainly have a small scale automated factory under the computer brain's control that would allow it to assemble fresh robots at need and dispatch them, when a bot is damaged beyond the feasability of repair. because you would not want the light and sound associated with such a factory close to the gorge it would be a couple of Km away and connected to the gorge by underground tram or maglev etc., the facility will also need a generator station, probably on the same grounds as the factory. these grounds would also have robot repair shops and 2 warehouses; one for storing robots not in use and one for spare parts.
Dont forget an admin building and a break area for the biological units as well as a power recharge station- typical of those used throughout the Frontier for people to pay to charge up their power belts and etc. except biological employees take advantage of the company one to bring their power belts from home and get a free recharge.

2. Some thought should be given to the typical Missions and Functions of the robots involved.

3. I read your adventure as a mystery to be solved so that said the PCs need to eliminate the likely suspects but to do that you need a host of likely suspects. and I propose these possibilities:

A. Silver Death Cult- they hate robots and want them gone. their motivation to cause trouble is simple but they can be ruled out quickly after they launch an attack on the gorge or its support infrastructure

B. Rogue mechanon(s), naturally they'll be suspected and Star Law of course tracks the movements of all mechs in the frontier. However the ambassador should not be the culprit as ambassadors are not chosen out of a hat and the official stance of Mechano's government is a desire to join the UPF. However it would be more likely that one of his retinue could be rogue. It could be that the ambassador is a deep cover rogue and allowed the actual rogue to be in his retinue with full knowledge but still maintaining his plausible deniability. He cant actively support the rogue lest he blow his cover. Mechanon rogue is a likely suspect and could be the suspect but just as likely the rogue can be stopped but evidence shows he's not the cause

C. industrial espionage/ sabotage by a competitor: Star Play doesn't want a new start up corporation gaining market share in the resort market where they enjoy virtual monopoly.

D. disgruntaled VP who has been shouldered aside and credit for Cyber Gorge has gone to another who is now an EVP

E. evolving AI

all of these things can be in play but in the end only 1-2 will be the cause of whats happening.
Can the Players sort it all out? At least 3 game sessions will be taken up with encounters that deal with one of the above suspects but ends up ruling them out as the cause. Then you build 2-3 encounters that build to a climax and reveal who the true culprit is.

This is my thouhgts on it, Jedion has spoken.
Now go write something
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

Your cyber gorge doc is growing and growing- you should break it up into readable pages and make the whole thing several pages long.

that way if anyone references a section of it in the general forums they dont get the whole adventure in their post.
