First off there is a need for a fighter craft picture, it could be any old fighter craft picture
OR....
it could show some fighters swarming a sathar ship
or swarming a sathar ship with sathar fighters present
or fighters flying nap of the earth down a canyon being pursued and some ground based laser turrets trying to engage

its for an up coming article but anything anyone can help out with.. it may be that the art already exist, just looking for something to go along with the article

I've submitted a ton of stuff that would fit this bill already, or look in the projects under original SF art/GJD CGI.

If there's nothing there, drop me a line and i can do something new.

I have a lot of your stuff, I sent some to Jedi for review. He posted this before seeing your images. :-)
We'll get it hammered out, I already think I've found an image you submitted for last issue SDA.

I can't work fast enough for what seems to be being asked. I was expecting 4 months to work, then I figured w00t wanted to get it in 3, but after receiving an email asking for articles right away, I can't do it. I'm helping out on the art on FrontierSpace. I don't have time to finish up my articles right away. I need at least another month. It's unfortunate that I won't be able to get the final Adventure Bots! installment in issue #15, as promised, because of this.

I believe your articles are written, they just need to be put in the layout. You could accept that someone else will put them in the layout but ya know... there might be a mistake or two or eighty. If you accept that then we have three frontiersman working on layout, one of us could do it. If you don't accept then it's up to you to send them in.

I don't think the issue will be ready until the end of June, start of July. Is that enough time to finish your SL and AB articles?

I'm working with Tom to provide an announcement-type list that alerts current submitters to what's going in the next issue and/or a call for certain submissions. All emails are hidden, I'll add you to the list and see if we can get something sent out next week.

My thought; *stick to the art*! We have enough for Issue 15. I want the FS book done! haha.

No sir. The Adventure Bots! article is still in the development stage, because I thought I had time to work on it (You have never seen it). The Cybernetics article (which you have also never seen) still needs the tables properly populated and finishing details for the cybernetic devices. As for the robot stuff you have seen already, I still have to check those for playability and accuracy (Since I don't have a play group at this time and no one has the time to check them for me, I will have to scrutinize them with a fine-toothed comb and I haven't done that because I'm focusing on all the other stuff first. Priorities).

The only thing I will be sending you [sent] is the Star Law article and the Star Frontiers Q&A (Which I only just finished the Q&A yesterday morning).

There are a few peeps on this site that are more than willing to review your ideas, game mechanics and playability (although sometimes they need a reminder or some prodding). Just ask.

We love to ... provide constructive... criticism. Sealed

Hey all,

Working on tiding up Issue 15. I need 4 pieces of art, 2 of which I'll be able to provide myself with a little creative searching. I believe our artist should be done with their projects this week.

Then the Issue goes to Tom^2 for a read through and corrections and finally it should be published.
FYI, there is an announcement list on the SFman site; http://starfrontiersman.com/ used for announcements, reminders and yada.

Hey, I suck.
I've destroyed 1/2 of Issue 15 three times. Yell Worst issue eva!
I've spent untold hours cleaning up articles and layout boxes. For some reason I can't determine, when I paste an article you all send me it goes BOOM!  So.. I'm cutting this one short at  (no AZ gear, no wing kite, no liberation of volturnus, etc)
BUT
I'm putting out another issue end of next month after the Con.

Very sorry, just don't withhold me oil by thundar!

Hey, you should just skip 15 and go right into 16.
then next year advertise 15 as a "lost collector's edition". Tongue out

Oh yes, I remember having to deal with that for issue 9.  It was one of the reasons I liked the lighter border layout we used in the issues just after that.

And I remember you said doing the layout was the FUN part. :)

This issues is challenging and fun. I feel bad for messing it up and delaying it. Right now I'm making classifieds.  I think next time we should all join skype and make some up.
When I used to meet with Bill to work on the Issue's we'd laugh so hard at some of the ideas.Smile
