Alternative Armies has started to release their Ion Age miniatures

This miniature line was developed a long time ago to compete with GW's 40K
the company is finally re-releasing them.

There is quite a bit more than what is out right now but heres a taste:

I love the above figure for a sci-fi game- everyone makes figures holding laser rifles but how many make figures holding a computer/scanner/remote control? I managed to get an old box set and this guy is the operator for a very cool looking remote cannon hopefully the cannon will be out soon too.

I just got an email that the first wave of 70 has been released

I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

New Ion Age miniature in both 28mm and 15mm (the 15mm can be based on a 1/4" washer and used on the Port Loren and KHs space station maps BTW)
