Refer to:

You don't have to Risk Jump every turn, only the turn you leave a star system.

Turn #1
TF Cassidine RJ2 (success) to Drammune
- 2 boxes per day, arrive on day 3

TF Prenglar and SF NOVA RJ2 (success) to Cassidine
- 2 boxes per day, arrive on day 3

Turn #2
TF Prenglar and SF NOVA RJ2 to Cassidine RJ2 (failure!) 2 boxes to Drammune, 3 days off board.
- You don't roll to Risk Jump until you arrive at the DESTINAION system.

RULES wrote:
A ship using accelerated movement must travel at the increased rate from the time it enters the first transit box until it reaches the jump point. The ship must stop moving for the turn when it enters its Jump Box (dark blue box containing arrow), even if the ship has moved only one or two boxes this turn. After the ship makes the jump, it can decelerate at the increased rate or at a lower rate. Ships decelerating more than one transit box per turn must stop as soon as they enter the system's starburst symbol.
If you want to STOP, you can decel only one transit box per turn/day.

Also remeber that Militia Ships can only jump to an adjacent system and must return if their HOME system is attacked.

I have a question about your house rules for risk jumping.  Say I have a fleet in Kizk-Kar that decides to RJ to Fromeltar.  They get to the transit box and fail the roll.  According to the house rules, I roll 2 dice, one to determine how many days I'm off the map and the other to determine how many boxes I overshoot the target.  So say I roll two days off the map and 3 boxes overshoot.  That puts me three boxes towards Dramune when I reappear.

Okay.  So my question is:  Do I have to return to Fromeltar or can I head to Dramune?

You go to Drammune, and then you overshoot (well, really "miss-shoot") by the rolled number of boxes.

You must go to Drammune, and only by 1 box per day, after the delay penalty is complete.

So, for example, if you fail an RJ, you roll, let's say, 2 boxes and 1 day delay. You have to take your 1 day delay and do nothing, taken on the day AFTER the failed roll. Then on the NEXT day, you can move 1 box towards the system. Then on the day after that you move another box. Then, finally, you arrive in system.

I think you meant Fromeltar as that was the original taraget.  In any case, what you explained is what I thought you intended, it just wasn't clear.
