Does anyone know a good link to a really good star system generator? I'd like to randomly create some star systems for use with the Frontier map from Zeb's guide, since my characters are wanting to "boldly go"...

Or just look up "star system generator" on your favorite search engine...duh. Tongue out

Man, that's a pretty cool program.  Someone should start building a SF universe map using that thing.  Could be impressive.

I started creating it last summer in a 3D format using astro-gen.

Need to locate my saves.

Very neat program indeed.

If you're looking for an old-fashioned, dice & paper generator, try the one in Traveller 2300 AD.  Its fairly comprehensive, and generates good results.  Its what I used to create all of the star system data for my own games (and the Prenglar system brief I wrote).
