questioning the +7 to hit if undetected

This seems like a d20 attack modifier not a d100 system modifier

Although it could me a IM modifier ensuring the space cat gains initiative?

A bad ass initial attack in this system would be +20 or perhaps a +30

I would suggest a high IM maybe a +7 which would be equal to the fastest reacting NPCs in game and a +25 for the initial ambush attack (if undetected) then the space cat reverts to its standard attack value.

providing I did not misunderstand the listing for this creature.
I might not be a dralasite, vrusk or yazirian but I do play one in Star Frontiers!

I had the +7 as a modifier to damage if it did successfully attack. If the cat was bigger, it would be a higher number, but since the cat is about the size of a small ocelot the attack would be lower. The IM is actually a 9 (I think, I'd have to look), but the cat would seriously surprise anything it attacked. I think if you really wanted to change it, it would be a +7 damage for an ambush with a claw attack, and maybe +14 damage for an ambush with a bite attack. You could maybe do both, but that would require a Dexterity check.

Thanks for the input!
